One of the most vistited Foodmarkets in Cape Town is a really nice possibility to taste all of the different meals of south Africa. You can find there everything from zebra-meal until nntil german-sausages. Also if the Foodmarket is really touristic, it’s nice to do a shopping tour at the Waterfrontmall and then make a break an taste some of the interesting things of the Market. The Foodmarket is located in one of the old an historical buildings of the harbour, the prices there are very different, you can eat there very cheap but also very expensive. It’s openend every day of the week from the morning until 19:00h.

The V+A Market on the Wharf opened recently at the V+A Waterfront in Cape Town. There is a growing demand by consumers for fresh, organic or homemade produce which has seen an increase in fresh produce markets opening up across the Peninsula. Products ranging from Organic and imported meats, cheese, and coffee to fresh fruit and vegetables, flowers, craft beers, locally produced sweets and preserves and a good selection of hot and cold eats to be had on site or taken away.

It’s not the only foodmarket in Cape Town in the city are a lot of different Foodmarkets from so many cultures and food from all over the world. Compared to european standards the food here is very cheap so it’s good for your wallet but it’s not so good for your phisique. 😀
