AroundaboutCars was established in 1995, with the intention of providing quality car rental services across South Africa. The company is owner managed and personally run by the partners Johannes, Geoff, Monika and Raymond.

Geoff Higgo, Owner:
Accounting.
Born and bred Capetonian. Started Cape Town's first backpacker "The
Backpack" in 1990. Followed by famous "Daytrippers ", the first interactive
day tour company in Cape Town. Established St John's Waterfront Lodge and
began his career in car hire here after numerous requests for cars from his
clients. He is a living library of travel knowledge in South Africa. Don't
ask Google, ask Geoff

Monika Moser, Owner:
Marketing.
MA in Politics and Economics from the University of Munich.
Born in Germany but has adopted South Africa as her home since 1993. Opened
Sunfish, South Africa's first Waterskiing school , after extensive work in
Cape Town 's Backpackers. Motherhood made her go into car hire - and that is
where she has been since 1995.

Johannes Moser, Owner:
Computers and fleet maintenance.
Brother of Monika. Followed his sister soon afterwards to wonderful South
Africa to become a partner in AroundAboutCars. Computer and technical
genius, loves and knows every single car by sound.

Raymond Selokela, Owner:
Daily Operations.
Preferred the Cape to Johannesburg. After quitting his professional soccer
career he became an Electrical Engineer. Whilst studying started working
part-time for AroundAboutCars and finally decided he preferred tourists to
gold mines. It seems as if he has been with Aroundaboutcars since the word
go and finally became a partner in 2006! |
Megan Nortjie:
Customer Liaison.
Straight from school to AroundAboutCars and is never allowed to leave. Responsible for all clients accounts and email enquiries . All VIPs only request Megan. |
Tabuya Makhaya:
Communications.
The newest lady, already proving to be invaluable and is challenging Audrey for the fastest telephone answering prize. |

Came from the Eastern Cape to enjoy Cape Towns nightlife. When he had enough started to work seriously for AroundAboutCars. Avert Cricket Fan. The clients love him! He makes everyone laugh. |

Car Hygene.
Nobody can get a vehicle sparkling faster than her. AroundAboutCars are the
cleanest vehicles on the road, without a doubt! |

Mother of Geoff Higgo. Born in Cape Town and comes from an old Cape Town
family, daugther of an ex mayor.
Been with AroundAboutCars since the beginning. The living computer. Nobody
has a memory like hers . She rules the office with an iron fist and ensures

Creating homes for children affected by HIV/AIDS within their
community and building bridges between people in South Africa
and other countries

AroundAboutCars is proud to support Hokisa on a monthly
base. Help to make South Africa a better country and join us.
The aim of HOKISA is to empower members of poor communities
where HIV/AIDS is most devastating. The HOKISA organisation
is run by volunteers. No money is spent for office buildings
or costly administration. Donations are going directly to the
projects for children, paid jobs are given to members of those
communities where a home is built – with the aim to create
responsibility and future ownership.
